Kids Can Train Too...
Our kid's program is the perfect after-school activity to elevate kids' self-confidence, hone their discipline, and improve their overall fitness through self-defence. There will be two coaches and the class limit is 16, so kids will get individualised coaching in a small group setting. Classes will include a mixture of jump rope, exercise drills, boxing, muay thai and heavy bag work.
Classes are open to all levels and exercises will be tailored to each kid's needs and abilities. Kids will be graded based on their abilities, through various levels:
Beginners - Entry level
Hatchets - Basic stances, blocks, kicks and punches. Gained understanding of class structure.
Tomahawks - Basic defensive skills, improved coordination, and enhanced strikes.
Battleaxes - Challenging drills, limit pushing exercises, light contact and preparation to progress to the adult classes.
Equipment needed: Mouthguard and gloves (gloves are available to purchase or rent at the gym)
Ages: 7-16 years old
Days: 1 class per week - every Monday or Thursday (during school terms). Enrolment into both days is an additional term fee.
Time: 4:30pm - 5:15pm
Price: $300 for each term and a pro rata rate will be calculated for kids starting mid-way through the term
